OPA657: Transimpedance Amplifier Design

Part Number: OPA657

Hello

I've got a related question....to the connecting thread. I need to design a transimpedance amplifier with OPA657 (any better opamp from TI - with lower input bias current, please suggest, there is something better for the application).

The requirements are: input current 100 pA, source capacitance 10 pF, the Full-Width Half Maximum (FWHM) of the input current signal is around 0.7 ms worst-case, transimpedance gain required is 10^9.

I want to design such a TIA. Kindly, tell me can I achieve it with the OPA657? Support with Tina simulation is appreciated.

How do I measure the frequency response of a TIA? In the last attached Mr.Michael Steffes suggested a method to measure the frequency response with a Network Analyzer with the addition of two capacitors and one 50 ohm resistor. Is it possible for home or somebody else helps me elaborate on the attached presentation by Mr.Steffes (Third slide from last)?

In fact, Steffes had written an article on the topic at https://www.electronicdesign.com/technologies/test-measurement/article/21774161/heres-an-easy-way-to-test-wideband-transimpedance-amplifiers

Unfortunately, the link had lost the images from the server it seems and unable for me to understand the article.

Support is highly appreciated.

Regards

ArM
