XTR111: Ways to achieve HART

Hi Team,

Customer would like to know:

TR115 supports HART signal. However, the high power consumption of the customer's project makes the two-wire system unsatisfactory. He wants to use a three-wire voltage-to-current chip. Is XTR111 ok? ?
Are there any other chips at the right price for use with the AD5700?

HI Annie,

The XTR111 and XTR300 do not work for HART as they use a chopping current-mirror architecture to reduce device offset and the switching frequency interferes with the HART communication protocol. This noise can be filtered noise on non-HART applications; however, the HART application have certain frequency response and impedance requirements that are not compatible with this architecture.

The XTR108, XTR115, XTR116, XTR117 are two-wire transmitters that could work on a HART system.
