LMP2022: Voltage noise vs frequency and Differential input resistance

Part Number: LMP2022
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMP2021

Hi Team,

My Customer wanted to know the voltage noise density / output ripple between 100kHz and 5MHz of LMP2022?(assume unity gain, input resistance 1M Ohm, power supply +/- 2.5V),do we have this data? The diagram in the datasheet stops at 100kHz.

Also can you share with me what is the Differential input resistance of LMP2022?

Thanks in advance.

Renan

  • Renan,

The input voltage noise spectral density graph shows the noise for the gain of 1000, which limits the effective bandwidth to BW=GBP/Gain=5kHz where it rolls off the broadband noise - see below.  In the gain of 1, the noise should stay at 11nV/rt-Hz until it's rolled off at unity-gain frequency of 5MHz.

You may simulate the LMP2021 voltage noise spectral density for two gains using macro-model - see below.

Under normal operation, most auto-zero amplifiers like LMP2021 show parasitic diodes between the input terminals, which gradually turn on as one increases differential voltage between the inputs.
