The only chip I am going to look for soon is a replacement for the INA301.
That chip works for us in a new design, except that it reacts too quickly. For some loads, we would like the !ALERT to respond a little slower, to let transients through.
Ideally there is some pin to pin compatible drop in replacement that is just slower. If not I need to redesign the board.
I can’t remember the chip, but I did try one a few months ago in the same family that had the LIMIT input an adjustable trip point or it was feedback into the comparator. It was also slower I think. The problem was it had an ALERT output instead of !ALERT, so it didn’t work at all.
