    Hello Roy,

    The LPV542 is not too old yet (~5 years) and I am not aware of any plans to replace it.  A good alternative would be the TLV8812.  Do you need all the specs to be the same or better?  Which are most important for you?  If you can provide me with this information, then I can try to find an even better alternative for you.
