LMH32401RGTEVM: using this EVM with a Thorlabs photodetector

Hello,

I would like to know if this EVM can be used to amplify a signal coming directly from a DET08CFC Thorlabs photodetector, and which would be the jumper and other configuration instructions. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello,

The photodetector should work with the LMH32401RGTEVM. The photodetector will need to be used in its photoconductive mode, in regards to the EVM settings this will depend on your desired gain and whether or not you want to use ambient light cancellation. I would recommend simulating on the TINA file below, you will need to add your the parameters for your expected photocurrent pulse.
