has anyone got a circuit for a transimpedance amplifier for use with a photomultiplier giving a negative output current. I should probably be able to work this out but my Texas amplifier knowledge is a bit limited :(

Hey Peter, that very old OPA380 says it is a transimpedance amplifier but that DC referencing path is very high noise - you can do better with just a decomp op amps.
I covered that topic with representative devices listed in this article (transimpedance is at the end). And this says high speed (and you need the GBP product to get the transimpedance gain and/or BW) but is generally applicable.
