TLC27M4: TLC27M4

Part Number: TLC27M4
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: , , OPA4196

I want to use TLC27M4 and i downloaded the pspice design file at here

https://www.ti.com/product/TLC27M4B?keyMatch=TLC27M4&tisearch=Search-EN-everything&usecase=GPN#design-development##design-tools-simulation

and then there are 4 files.

TLC27M4 5_1, 5_2,10_1,10_2

I know the first number is supply voltage and second number is CMOS level.

What is the difference in level 1 and level2?

I can't distinguish which TLC27M4 is level1 or level2 device even i saw the datasheet of TLC27M4.

Is level 1 for TLC27M4A? Is level 2 for TLC27M4B?

If i simulate the 5_1 pspice file, which device should i buy..?

  • Hi Seung,

"5" stands for "5V supply voltage" and "10" for "10V supply voltage". Also, "Level 2" is more complex than "Level 1", or by other words, "Level 2" model models a bit better than "Level 1" model.

    Hello Seung,

I believe Kai is right.  The "Level 2" model just seems to have more information.  I would purchase the typical TLC27M4 device, not a variant.  So, that you would be a device that starts with "TLC27M4I" followed by the package designator.

If you would like to use a more recent part with a more recent model, you might want to consider the OPA4196.

    Regards,

    Daniel
