Zero Drift, Low offset opamp- current sensing-automotive -AD8630WARZ-RL-Alternate

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA2388-Q1, OPA4376-Q1, OPA4388, OPA2317-Q1, OPA4388-Q1

Hello

We need a new and low-cost alternative from TI for the below-mentioned analog device part number ( AD8628WAEZ-RL) for automotive LV current sensing application. Zero drift opamp would be best.

  • hello Charles

Are you using the quad? AD8630. If so, then I would recommend the OPA4376-Q1. It is not a Zero Drift device but it is trimmed and offers very good DC performance. As far as choppers, we have the OPA2317-Q1 as low cost solution (dual) and the soon to be released OPA2388-Q1. We also have a plan for the quad OPA4388 in Q1.

Let me know which of these is most interesting to you.

  • Currently we are using Quad IC of which 2 are used as voltage followers/buffers. We are looking forward to OPA2388-Q1 or OPA4388-Q1. Can you tell a tentative date of release and approximate price for 1k quantity for these two parts.

  • Charles

We are targeting the dual by the end of the year and the quad in the first quarter (tentatively).

The 1k price should be around $1.5 and slightly above $2 for the dual and quad respectively.

My email address is Soufiane.Bendaoud@ti.com, let me know if you need samples so I can set some aside for you.
