AMC1200: Min and Max value of RIN Differential input resistance

Part Number: AMC1200

Hi Team,

My customer would like to know min and max value of input resistance.

on the datasheet, we can see only typ value 28k ohm.

is it possible to provide that value?

best regards,

Takuya

  • Hello,

There is not a datasheet specification for the min/max input resistance and therefore we can't provide any firm limits.  However, normal variation on similar resistors is usually in the +/-5% range with +/-15% on the far ends of the distribution.  Note the ratio matching of the input and feedback impedances in the front-end stage is much better which yields the final gain-error numbers in the datasheet.

  • Hi Collin,

    thank you for your support.

    >>normal variation on similar resistors is usually in the +/-5% range with +/-15% on the far ends of the distribution

this mean mos of resisters (2 sigma? 3 sigma?)are in +/- 5% and max and min is +/-15%, is it correct?

    best regards,

    Takuya

  • Hello,

We need to reiterate that since there is not a maximum specification in the datasheet we can not provide an absolute limit.

However, we expect 1-sigma to be in the 4-7% range with 2 and 3-sigma values being that multiplied by the respective number of standard deviations being included.
