TLV7021: negativ input voltages

Part Number: TLV7021

Hello,

can you help me to understand min and max input limitations?
If my input shifts below VEE by 0.05 to 0.1V, which is still above the abs max negative ratings, do I get any problem with the performance of the device?
Will I get output shifts or other issues?

Thanks!

No issue.  We actually test our parts that way.  Just avoid turning on the low side ESD diode and you should not experience any negative effect.

One tip:  it is always good to limit the input current with a series resistor if the application has input signals that go below ground.  Many times customers have resistor divider networks that naturally limit the current but in case you are driving the input with a low impedance source, it is always good to have a 1k resistor in series just in case the input spikes more negative than anticipated.  The input is high impedance CMOS, so this will not impact any performance.
