LMV822-N: LMV822D

Part Number: LMV822-N
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV9052

Hi Team,

Do we have LMV822D?

customer said they used LMV822D before but now can't find it in ti.com.

Is it EOF? What is the different between LMV822D and LMV822N?

  • The LMV822 was a clone of National Semiconductor's LMV822. When National was bought by TI, all National devices with equal names got renamed with a "-N" suffix to allow to continue both product lines.

Later, TI's LMV822 was discontinued. You can replace the the LMV822 with the LMV822-N or with the TLV9052.

    Hello Amelie,

As Clemens has stated, the LMV822D has reached the end of its life (EOL).  You may already be familiar with the TI policy on EOL, but if not you can read more about it here.

I can also confirm Clemens' explanation of the meaning of "-N' and the suggested replacement devices.

    Regards,
    Daniel
