Part Number: LMV344-N
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMV344
Hi team,
Could you let me know the difference between LMV344 and LMV344-N except ESD rating? They have different price in ti.com.
And what is the name rule of -N?

TI's LMV344 was designed as a clone of National Semiconductor's LMV344.
When TI bought NS, naming conflicts were resolved by adding the -N suffix to the NS devices.
Hi Ladisch,
So what is the difference between them? Actually they have different price in ti.com but similar feature.
Regards,
Roy
The only relevant difference is the original manufacturer. TI's LMV344 was designed to have as few differences as possible from NS's LMV344.
The LMV344-N is sold only to support old NS customers.
Hi Roy,
why not looking into the datasheet to see what's different? :-)
I have noticed that also the absolute maximum ratings are different, for instance.

Roy,
They are similar preforming devices. However they are not the same. In most applications, the same result would be expected.
