LMH6657: about ESD CDM about TC Vos spec

Part Number: LMH6657
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA830

Hi dear expert,

My customer has two questions, hope you can help:

1. what's the LMH6657 ESD CDM value, datasheet only lists CDM.

2. for TC Vos spec, according to our datasheet, it lists: +/-2 uv/c. Customer wants to know that the Vos VS temp is always positive? meaning if the temperature increases, the VOS= +2*(T2-T1)? Customers want to use this spec to estimate high/low temp Vos. They will only test room temp Vos, and estimate high/low temp Vos. They said competitor p2p device has positive Vos value. How about ours? Do we have data on it?

 thanks alot!

  • Morning Joyce,

I think you mean it only shows a MM ESD along with HBM.

It is pretty unlikely the comp part is unipolar on offset drift, what part number are you looking at

The tougher thing to match on this part is the higher supply on a high SR RRO VFA. The similar part I was doing in that timeframe (of many) was the OPA830, it shows a much higher worst case drift number. The +/-2uV in the LMH6657 is typical, the max will be much higher, but unspecified. Back then I was doing a really detailed max over temp range spec format if you look at the OPA830 - kind of abandoned that as poor ROI but it is pretty detailed where you can find it on those sort of BurrBrown residual parts.

If you need to move away from this part for comp reasons, it would help a lot to have a schematic - and there, it would bring in a vast number of more options if the application could use a 5V part instead of this 12V part.
