LM393LV: Slew rate consult

    Hi Charles,

    "Slew Rate" is an operational amplifier specification. The LM393LV is a comparator.

    Comparators have digital outputs - perhaps you are inquiring about the output risetime and falltime (tr & tf) ? Or the response time (propagation delay)?

    The propagation delay is shown in section 6.10 (pg.13) of the LM393LV datasheet. Propagation delay changes with input signal drive, but rise/fall time does not change.

    Rise-time is dependent on the pull-up resistor and capacitive load time constant. Fall time is also somewhat dependent on capacitive load...but is usually in the <100ns range.
