LM7332: There is no TINA’s libraries in TINA software

Part Number: LM7332
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Why is there no component in the TINA-TI software downloaded from your " TI Precision Labs-OpAmps"  when the app open " Find Component"?

Regards,

Ruan

  • Hi Ruan,

We do not recommend using the op amp models provided in the TINA-TI model library. Instead we recommend downloading the models on the product webpage. The models can be found by clicking on the "Design and Development" tab and then "Design Tools and Simulation". We recommend using the models on the product webpage because this will provide you with the latest version of the model since the models in the TINA-TI library are not updated.

    Thank you,

    Tim Claycomb

  • Tim is correct, the TINA libraries are not updated for whatever version of TINA you might have. I have V11 with a huge industrywide library, well worth the <$300 cost.

I think they do update the libraries some as they release newer versions - but to get those, you need to buy the latest version,

The LM7332 model is in the V11 library, transistor level model, here is the header, no date? One of my (many) pet peeves is TI does not maintain an errata list in the model updates - they do in the datasheet updates, the model errata listing as it is updated would also be more responsible.

  • I did look at the TI product folder model, looks to be the same as is in the V11 library, here that is saved as a V7 file,

    LM7332 TINA V11 library.TSC
