LMH3401: Request for Temperature-controlled differential preamplifier

Part Number: LMH3401

Hi Team,

I just use the part number above to create a request.

Do you have something to offer with our customer that is looking for a TI solution for uA727 (Temperature-controlled differential preamplifier).
Here's the datasheet for your reference:

Thanks,

Jonathan

  • Hi Jonathan,

you mean an OPAmp which is good enough to show brilliant results even without temperature control of die? Or an OPAmp which provides such a temperature controlled die?

    Kai

  • So this uA727 has die temp control to help gain stability since it is a primitive open loop differential I/O amplifier. Its absolute gain accuracy is hideous,

Any modern on chip gain and feedback R device will do a lot better. The LMH3401 is one, but that FDA device requires you to drive a low input impedance.

Another option is maybe the OPA2692 if you want I differential input Z with only modest gain. But really, almost any op amp solution with external R's will do better than this for initial tolerance and drift.

  • Hello Jonathan,

We have some FDAs with either analog and digital internal adjustable gain control. However these are not temperature controlled. What are the customer's key specifications for uA727?

    Thank you,
    Sima
