LM124AQML: Output voltage swing

Hi,

In the datasheet of the LM124AQML the output voltage swing is given at (V+)-1.5V in the features and further in the document is given at Voh 26V or 27V according to the load for V+=30V.

Can you say what value can I take for a worst case analysis in the following conditions

V+=12V or 15V, V-= GND, output current < 1mA

Bonjour Matthieu,

you can estimate it from this specification:

Your maximum output voltage should be at least 12V - 3V = 9V and 15V - 3V = 12V, respecitvely.

Hello Matthieu,

It is at least 9V or 12V because the data sheet load current is at least 2.7mA (27V/10k). 1mA load will be somewhat better.

Hi,

According to the design guidelines the LM124 is capable of much less than 3V in my case.

From the design guidelines : Voh-Vcc=-1.5V or better at 5V/25°C/2kohms and independant of Vcc. Temperature dependency is 4mV/°C

2k means at least 1.75mA. So I'm better than -1.5V, just to add the temperature dependency

Matthieu,

The LM124AQML data sheet does not have the electrical table entry for VCC 5V 2k load. Add design margin to allow for some variability.

In the datasheet we have : features "large ouput voltage swing 0V to V+ -1.5V"

What are the conditions to achieve these -1.5V?

Because no load was mentioned, I'll say no load and 25C temperature.
