LMC6482: VSSOP to VSSOP adapter board

Regarding LMC6482IMM/NOPB, Package Type VSSOP.

Would like to test multiple ICs LMC6482IMM/NOPB Package Type VSSOP, on a specific test board that already has the layout for package type VSSOP.

Is there any adapter board (having the same layout) that could be (permanently) connected to the test board, where ICs (to be tested) could be temporarily held onto without soldering?

Have not found a feasible solution yet. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about PCB breakout board for VSSOP package? If this is the question, please check out digikey.com or other similar vendor.

Hi Raymond,

Thanks for your answer. I have found VSSOP to DIP adapter boards.

However, I have been asked to find what is effectively a VSSOP to VSSOP adapter board, which can be used to test VSSOP ICs without having to solder them (like chip test clamshell socket). The test board already has the profile for VSSOP, not DIP: that is the main constraint.

Do you think such a product might be available, at least from TI?
