INA214-Q1: The power dissipation of INA214-Q1 in working mode?

Part Number: INA214-Q1

Dear team,

My customer this device in the preheater delay project. When the system is in sleep mode, our device still needs to work, so they cares about the power dissipation. What is the power consumption generated by our chip itself when working in normal mode(Vsense is not equal to 0mV)? We define Iq parameter, but the test condition is Vsense=0mV.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Sherry

  • Hello Sherry,

Most of the time the Vsupply current will not change much with the inputs differential but could with VCM change.  So the change in VCM.  This device will have lower supply current if VCM is lower than Vsupply.  The supply current does not increase significantly once you hit the transition from VCM being larger than Vsupply.

Duplicate post.  I will close this one.
