INA220: Selection of Gain thru PG bit setting

Hi team,

I wonder how I select Gain.

As an example, for a rail with Rshunt = 5mOhm, Inom = 20A, Imax = 25A,

Vshunt.nom = 5mOhm*20A = 100mV

Vshunt.max = 5mOhm*25A = 125mV

I can select either gain of +4 with +/-160mV of FSR or +8 with +/-320mV of FSR. I believe gain option of +8 results in a better Current_LSB resolution. Is it correct? Which gain option would be the better choice?
