I need to cascade 2 or 3 LMH5401 amps to get the amount of gain needed. However both a board and a simulation using the TI spice model show a roll off well below the desired 6 GHz level if multiple LMH5401's are cascaded. Each 5401 is set up to provide a gain of 2V/V as per the data sheet sample circuits. But the gain of the system deteriorates with frequency. By 6 GHz a 3 stage system is actually showing substantial attenuation (about 19-20 dB).
Any ideas would be appreciated.
