TAS5751MEVM: Stereo 2-way crossover possible?

Hello

Wondering if it is possible to hook up 2x TAS5751EVM to get a stereo 2-way crossover?  So have L/R Main & L/R Tweeter.  Is a single PurePath Motherboard Console able to configure/pass digital audio to 2 EVMs?

    My understanding is that you want to use 2* TAS5751M device in BTL mode and another 2 devices in PBTL mode. For each channel(R or L), one device is used for woofer in PBTL mode and the other one is used for tweeter in BTL mode. Please correct me if it's not correct.
    Unfornunately one PPC3 mother board doesn't support 2 EVM debugging/tuning at the same time. But I think the audio performance tuning for the both channel are almost the same, so you could perform the tuning on R channel then L channel.
    BTW, usually 0x54 and 0x56 can be used for I2C slav address. If more than 2 devices are used in the system, a new address need to set after power-up. Please follow the procedures in the section 7.6.1.2 in datasheet.

    Using PBTL for woofer & BTL for tweeter sounds acceptable.  Will try and let you know if I have any trouble setting up. 

    Can you explain more about the I2C slave address for using 2 devices?  Right now we would only be using EVMs to setup initial prototype of stereo 2-way system.  Are we to use a new address for the 2nd EVM or is that just during final system integration?

    Thanks for feedback. Usually TAS5751M can support two I2C slave address 0x54 and 0x56, if more than two devices are used, need to perform the procedure to change the address. e.g. if four TAS5751M devices are used in one system, you need to power up two device and change their I2C slave address to a new value(not 0x54 or 0x56), then power up the other two devices.
