TAS2560: VIH and VIL for SCL/SDA pins

Hi,

According to the datasheet for TAS2560 VIH and VIL is not valid for SDA/SCL, and I can’t find any data for SCL/SDA VIH and VIL in the datasheet. What is VIH and VIL for SDA/SCL pins?

Hi Thomas,

Welcome to E2E, thanks for your interest in our products.
The SDA and SCL signals must use pull-up resistors to set the logic-high level for the bus. Do not allow the SDA and SCL voltages to exceed the device digital interface supply voltage (IOVDD).

Hi,

Thank you for your answer. But unfortunately I don't think it answers my question. My question was about VIH_minimum and VIL_maximum, HIGH and LOW input voltages to the TAS2560 IC. What are the input voltage levels for VIH_minimum and VIL_maximum for SCL and SDA. According to the TAS2450 datasheet the VIH_minimum and VIL_maximum values stated there are not valid for I2C SCL/SDA and the datasheet doesn't say anything about VIH_minimum and VIL_maximum for SCL/SDA.

Hi Thomas,

I2C VIH and VIL follow the I2C bus spec:
VIH = 0.7*IOVDD
VIL = 0.3*IOVDD
