LMV331: LMV331IDBVR

Part Number: LMV331

Dear Sirs, good afternoon!

We bought microchip LMV331IDBVR several times. The first one was through Mouser, the second buying was through Compel.

According to the datasheet it should be R1IC or R1II. But in fact it is R1IF on the device.

Would you be so kind to send us detailed explanation of this issue?

We are looking forward to your answer so much.

Sincerely,

Olesya

Sovtest

  • Hello Olesya,

Did you mean TI? Or Microchip? I do not see any second sources from Microchip.

"R1IF" is technically a valid code for the LMV331IDBVT/R, as the last digit "F" is an assembly site code. This means that this device was assembled in a different site than the other two devices. TI has several assembly sites capable of producing that device.

I will check to see if this is valid code, but both Mouser and Copel are authorized TI distributors, so I doubt if these are counterfeit.

  • Hello Olesya,

I did confirm that that the LMV331IDVB has been recently run through the "F" fab, so this is a valid device code.
