We are working again on the same project  3Ph voltage measurement using AMC1100.As per attached functional block diagram.

Need to understand the effect of connecting to-gather mains neutral with AMC1100 input side GND. Considering the electrical noise of all three phase will return through the common neutral.

    Hi Amruta,

    yes, you can do this. And figure 37 of datasheet of AMC1100 shows an optional way to generate the supply voltage VDD1. But do not connect VINN directly to mains neutral. Instead use some input filtering, as shown in figure 34 and 39 of datasheet. Of course, use an individual input filter for each AMC1100.

  • Hello 

    When multiple voltage are measured as group isolated measurement module, you will have to tie the neutral.

    The effect of noise depends on the layout and we have achieved 0.1% measurement accuracy from 5V to 280V.

    I am not sure what helo you are looking for.

    In case your question is on the noise effect, i do not see that affecting the measurement if you take care of the routing as per TIDA-00555 in your design.

    there is no special noise issue, when connecting mains neutral to GND1 of AMC1100. This is the best you can do, anyway. But use the input filtering as mentioned in my last post:
