high gain, low noise transimpedance amp design

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA637, OPA657

Hi guys,

I am designing a transimpedance amplifier with current source from an avalanche photodiode model from hamamatsu with capacitance of 15pF and the detector will detect the input signal from (very far laser source) about a few picoampere (pA), which is very low signal. The op amp that I want to use is OPA637.

I consider to use 2 stage of amplifier circuit for this system since I want the output voltage is about 1 V. and also low noise associated with AC coupling(want to remove ambient light).

Any help for my photodiode amplifier design?

All comments and helps would be very appreciated!
