OPA2835 - looking for an opamp

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA2835, OPA2313, OPA2342, OPA2378, OPA2334, OPA2335, OPA2314, OPA2348

Hi,

I am looking for an opamp for low frequency (up to 1MHz) which can do the below operation.

I need two opamps in one package.

The OPA2835 is a candidate but I need feedback resistor above 10K while TI recommend 2K.

Please advise as if I can use higher RF value and if not please suggest for a replacement.

Thanks.

  • Feedback resistor acts as a load at the op amp's output; therefore, the higher resistor value than the typical specified in the datasheet should not be a problem; it is a lower value resistance that may be a problem if the output cannot drive it due to its output current limitation.

The effective bandwidth of any op amp is a function of close-loop gain, G; usually, 1MHz bandwidth in G=1 will result in 100kHz in G=10, 10kHz in G=100, etc.  Since Gain-Bandwidth product of OPA2835 is 30MHz (3MHz for gain of 10), do you need 1MHz bandwidth in G=1 (or Gain-Bandwidth product of 1MHz) or 1MHz signal bandwidth for some higher gain?  If former is the case, you may try to use: OPA2348, OPA2313, OPA2314,OPA2334, OPA2335, OPA2378, OPA2342.
