TLV2362 spec question

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV2362

Dear Sir

Good days,

Here request Vcc 3.3V~5V CMRR:85db BW GBW: 4.5Mh, and i want choice low cost IC TLV2362.

May i double check with you if TLV2362 operation in vcc=5V performance is the same operation in +/- 2.5V?

                                Best regards,

                                               Bogey

  • Hi Bogey,

The TLV2362 dc and ac electrical performances will be the same whether powered by +/-2.5 V, or +5/0 V, providing the input and output ranges are correctly evaluated in relation to the supply voltages being used to power the device. For example, the common-mode rejection ratio, CMRR, is specified as 85 dB typical with a common-mode input voltage (VIC) of +/- 0.5 V, with +/-2.5 V supplies. Note that the VIC is referenced to 0 V which is half way between -2.5 V and +2.5 V.

When we go to a single +5 V/0 V supply, VIC has to be offset by +2.5 V. VIC is now +2.5V +/-0.5 V, or 2 V to 3 V. Note that +2.5 V is half way between 0 V and +5 V. The input voltage range relation the to the supplies voltages has been maintained.

You simply go through the same process for power supply rejection ratio (kSVR), VOM+, VOM-, etc., adding in the +2.5 V power supply offset.

    Regards, Thomas
