OPA2316 / about bandwidth for G= + 100

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA2316, OPA316, OPA2320, OPA355, OPA350, OPA365, OPA2322

Hi,

I would like to use OPA2316 with G= + 100 at f=100kHz. Please let me know what bandwidth for G= + 100 is.

Best Regards,

Kato

  • Kato,

The effective bandwidth is a function of the Gain-Bandwidth Product, GBP, and close-loop noise gain and thus may be easily calculated using following formula: BW=GBP/Noise_Gain.  Since OPA316 GBP is 10MHz, the effective -3dB bandwidth for Gain=+100 is BW=10MHz/100=100kHz.  The bandwidth may also be simulated as shown below:

  • Hi Marek - san,

Thank you for the reply. Would you tell me higher bandwidth devices than OPA2316 ? However, small package is high priority .

    Best Regards,

    Kato

  • Hi Kato,

Please consider OPA2320 and OPA2322 with GBP of 20MHz as well as OPA350, OPA355, and OPA365 with even higher bandwidth.
