Hello ti community,

I just want to know if there is any sort of information available about the accuracy of input capacitance of opamps in general (specifically THS4211). The datasheets usually specifies only single value for such information and don't specify min/max values. I have a design where I can't tolerate a lot of deviation of input capacitance therefore I have to learn the limits of input capacitance.

    Hello Alperen,

    I do not have an answer for this question. We give only a typical number for input capacitance because it is not tracked in production testing. I looked at the typical supply current (16mA to 22mA). Since the input capacitance would be related to similar process variation as the input capacitance I would use that as a guess for the input capacitance tolerance.

    If you wanted to sort parts based on supply current you would probably also get parts with better matched input capacitance. This is not a direct correlation, but it would help.
