TLV3701-Q1: TLV3701 VS TLV3701-Q1 Start-up time

Part Number: TLV3701-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV3701,

The TLV3701 datasheet states startup time (Tsu) is up to 30mS from when the supply reaches VCC Min.

The TLV3701-Q1 datasheet does not mention this parameter. Can I therefore assume the -Q1 version has a stable output state as its VCC voltage rises or does it have a Tsu time the same as the standard part?

I need to find a comparator that has a stable output within about 1mSec of startup. It does not have to be nanopower or fast but needs to work from a 12V supply and be SOT-23 footprint.

Thanks,

John

  • Hi John,
The TLV3701-Q1 does not have thge Tsu specified. I'm not aware of any devices TI has which meet your 1ms start up time at 12V supply.

With that said, if you could provide some details of your system design, we probably could recommend alternative devices to meet your needs.

    Best regards.
