LM258A: negative input voltage

I use the LM258A and Vcc is +-12Vdc.  From the data sheet, the maxmum negative voltage is -0.3Vdc.  I want to confirm that the maxmum negative input voltage is -0.3vdc or -12.3Vdc(-12v-0.3v)?
