TLV7031: IN+ and IN- voltage range

Part Number: TLV7031

Hi,

Vcm is written as follows.

Does it say that Vcc+0.1 V can be input to IN + pin or IN - pin?
For example, when inputting the reference voltage to IN + or IN- at Vcc = 5 V, can I input 5.1V to IN + or IN - as the reference voltage?

Best Regards,
Yuto Sakai

  • Hi Yuto,

Yes, a signal of 0.1V above Vcc can be applied to both IN+ and IN- (i.e. 5.1 V for a 5V supply). In this case a 5.1V source can be used as a reference voltage to IN+/IN- (consequently the output may never toggle as both IN+/IN- are max out at 5.1V).

Please let us know if you have further questions.

    Best.
