TLV272: Absolute Max Values Parameter Interpretation

Part Number: TLV272

Hello,

We have a customer needs to know what the "Input, Vi" is for on page 6 of the datasheet, in Absolute Maximum Values, in the Voltage section of table 7.1.

The value listed is -0.2 to VDD +0.2.

Could someone please advise what this "Input, Vi" is meant to represent?

Thanks,

  • Hi Gabe,

"Input, Vi" is just the input voltage on the inverting or non-inverting pin of the amplifier. In that table, it is saying that the voltage applied to either In+ or In- of the amplifier cannot be less than -0.2V or greater than VDD+0.2V.

    I hope that is clear,
    Paul
