TLV8802: Negative Common Mode

Can the TLV8802 input common mode voltage extend slightly (100 mV) below the low voltage rail? The data sheet limits the VCM from 0 - 4.1V so I suspect the answer is no. But wanted to confirm.

If not, can you suggest another low cost, nano power amp that can extend below the negative rail?

Hello Mark,

-0.1V at room temp should not be an issue. There may be some slight offset shift outside of spec at the cold extreme but it will not drop-off-a-cliff.

Officially we have to say to stay within the specified conditions. But...

If you want one that is specified to -0.1V, take a look at the LPV542, OPA2369 or TLV2402.
