OPA237: Open Loop Gain Max Spec

Part Number: OPA237

Hi,

I am looking for OPA237NA-3K Open Loop Gain Max Spec.

Inside the spec has 80dB (min) and 88dB (typ) spec. May I know what is the max spec for this open loop gain?

End customer evaluation is based on closed loop gain, but since the closed loop gain design is quite high they want to make sure it is within the capability of the op amp by looking at the open loop gain since both parameter is related.
Because in real Op amp there is no such thing as infinite gain.

Or is there a distribution curve / Cpk for this Open Loop Gain parameter?

Please do kindly help to advise soonest as possible, thanks.

Best Regards

  • Hi Philip,

We don't specify a maximum open-loop gain (Aol) for the OPA237, but it is limited by constraints set by both the circuit design and the as-processed electrical characteristics of the IC's transistors and passive components. Based on distribution information from the original characterization the data indicates that the 3-sigma Aol tops out at about 99.7 dB (9.66e4 V/V), at room temperature an RL = 10 k.

This information is provided as a service, and does not imply any assurance of a maximum Aol for the OPA237.

    Regards, Thomas
