LM2903AVQDRQ1 negative voltage input

I will have a negative voltage input (about -1V) when using the LM2903AVQDRQ1. Is it allowed? Is there a negative protection or restriction if the limit is exceeded? For example, current <1mA? Thank you!

Hi Meng,

please read section 6.1 of datasheet and the footnote (4). To prevent damage you must limit the input current to under 50mA. Can you insert a resistance of 1k at the input of LM2903? This would limit the current to 1V / 1k = 1mA.
