OPA2132: OPA132, OPA2132, OPA4132 upgrade?

Part Number: OPA2132
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA2156

Hi Amps team,

I’m upgrading my data acquisition design where I am using the OPA2132 in a transimpedance configuration driving a 16-bit ADC. I am looking for an amplifier similar to the OPA2132 but with higher bandwidth and slew rate (and ideally better offset and drift). Do you have anything new you can recommend?

  • Hi Tamara,

We’ve just released the OPA2156 which is a big performance upgrade to the OPA2132. It has lower broadband noise (3 nV/rtHz), higher gain bandwidth (25 MHz), lower offset voltage (25 uV typ) and many other improvements.  Check out the comparison below.  Samples of the OPA2156 are available today through the TI eStore.
