LM139-MIL: LM139-MIL Package

Dear All,

I've a question about LM139-MIL available packages.

In first page of datasheet there is a table reporting the available packages of component and there is also SOIC package, but I don't find the related orderable device p/n and the mechanical data of SOIC device.

My question: is LM139-MIL in SOIC case available?

    Hello Stefano,

    LM139-MIL is the product page for the military grade LM139 that originated from TI.   LM139AQML is the product page for the military grade LM139 from National Semiconductor which TI acquired in 2011.

    If you want commercial grade product in a plastic SOIC, please visit the LM139 product page for the standard grade and the LM139A product page for the A grade.   The difference between LM139 and LM139A is that the lM139A has better electrical performance.   Both versions are of TI origin.

    Ok,
    in my personal opinion if the military version LM139-MIL does not provide the SOIC package, it should not appear in the datasheet, otherwise it creates confusion.
    However, I thank you for the clarification.

    Hi Stefano,
    Thank you for pointing this out and your input. I totally agree with you. This was an error during the realignment of the products after the National acquisition.

    The SOIC plastic part will be removed from the datasheet during the next datasheet update.
