Part Number: INA303

Hi

I'm referring SBOA171B.

In this note, low-side sensing with INA303 is introduced.

Regarding to detection for motor current, I concern impact of noise.

Should not we need consider the input filter for INA303?

Could you please tell me if there is recommended filter example?

BestRegards

  • Hi,

The input filtering is at the system designer’s discretion. It is not required for every low side motor current sensing. If you decide to have it, you can refer to the datasheet section 8.1.2, as show in the following picture.

That said, it is a good idea to have the filter in place if not sure. As a minimum, you may simply use the C without the R’s.

    Regards, Guang
