LM358-N: Maximum output possible for dual supply at 3.3 V

Hi all, I'm new to the electronics world and op amps have me a bit turned around regarding how to figure out if I'm in dual supply mode and Vcc is 3.3 V, what realistically is that maximum output I could expect given I have designed the gain for such, and how do you determine that number (maximum output). Thanks!

Using LM358 (with or without -N) at 3.3V supply is possible but is a significant challenge. I covered this recently in this application note. See page 20.

+/-1.65V dual supply is the same as single supply 3.3V; the LM358 doesn't know the difference. But the designer must know; all data sheet voltages and loads are referenced to GND, pin 4.

Try LMV358A instead for Vcc =3.3V, output is rail to rail.
