OPA211: Question about the spec of OPA211 device

Part Number: OPA211

Hi team,

    My customer would like to know the following spec about OPA211 device, I didn't find them through datasheet. Could you please help to check and provide them? Thanks a lot!

    1. differential mode input voltage range (V);

    2. open-loop bandwidth at 0dB gain (MHz);

    3. output capacitive load ability (pF);

    4. max acceptable voltage for input pin (V);

    5. max acceptable voltage for output pin (V).

Best Regards

  • Hello Zhenguang,

    Most of the answers to your customer's questions can be answered by viewing the OPA211 datasheet.

      1. differential mode input voltage range (V); - See Input Voltage in table 6.1.

        2. open-loop bandwidth at 0dB gain (MHz); - From Electrical Characteristics Table on Pg. 9. Also see Figure 9. Gain and Phase vs Frequency plot on Pg. 15.

    GBW Gain-bandwidth product G = 1 V/V, 45 MHz typical

        3. output capacitive load ability (pF);

    Fig. 28 on Pg. 18 provides the complete Cload information.

        4. max acceptable voltage for input pin (V);

    See question no. 1.

        5. max acceptable voltage for output pin (V).

    The output pin normally sources/sinks current to the output load and the output voltage will be at a specific level determined by the input voltage and the closed-loop gain setting. The output pin does not usually have an external voltage applied to the pin. There is the danger that if the output is assuming the correct output voltage level and an external voltage is applied directly to the output pins, then there is the risk that the output transistors could be forced into over-voltage/over-current conditions where they would be damaged.

    Under normal operating conditions the output pin can swing close to the supply rails as shown in the Electrical Characteristics table:
