Can TL082 be powered by single voltage supply,such as +12V without -12V?
  • Yes, this is possible. But keep in mind that the common mode input voltage must stay 4V away from the supply rails and that the output cannot reach the supply rails. Or, by other words, the TL082 is no rail-to-rail OPAmp. Have a look into the datasheet.

    Yes, TL082 can be used if Kai's advice is followed. For wider input range with similar performance and 1k/u web price, consider TL3472 or TLV2172 instead.
