LM358-N: Offset Voltage issue

Hi Team ,

On of my customer using LM358N/NOPB .

They tested 50 pcs samples ,out of them they get different Offset Volatges .

During testing in no load condition they found offset voltage around 0.2 to 0.3 VDC in the 21 ICs where as in the remaining ICs (29 nos.) they found 0 Offset Voltage. As per our circuit requirement. This 0.2 Voltage is not acceptable.

Please advise what can be the issue.

Hi Rahul,

are you sure that the input voltage is within the common mode input voltage range and that the output voltage is far away enough from the rails? See the recommended "input voltage range" specification and the "voltage output swing from rail" specification in the datasheet.

Can you show a schematic and describe the input and output voltage of your LM358 circuit?
