THS4551: Convert Differential Output to Single-Ended

Part Number: THS4551
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA837

Hi team,

I'm considering THS4551 for an upcoming application. The specs of the device match what I need, but I require a single-ended output. Do you have any guidance as to how to convert the differential output to a single-ended output while maintaining CMRR up to 10+MHz?

Brian

  • If you need a single ended output start with an op amp, look at the OPA837 - similar internal design but not an FDA.

  • Hi Brian,

Just as Michael said, the OPA837 is a good choice for similar performance. The part can be set up in a difference amplifier configuration that will give a single ended output. It is also possible to use only one output of the THS4551 but it will lose half of the dynamic range performance and also some HD2 performance.

    Regards,
