THS4031: Theta JC (Bottom)

Hi Team,

Our customer needs the theta JC (bottom) thermal resistance for part THS4031 (SOIC package).

This is not given on the datasheet. Do we have data on this?

Hi Jejomar,

Yes, I can get this data for you. The THS4031 thermal model was created before we were using the theta JC (bottom) spec. I will request for a quick turn-around but it may take up to two weeks to receive the new model.

Hi Jejomar,

Below are the updated values. My apologies, but the SOIC package doesn't actually have a Theta JC bottom because it does not have a thermal pad on the package. However, the other values should help compute a more accurate temperature. Below is a link to a document that explains how to best use the measurements.
