Electrically they are the same device (same die, same electrical tests). There is a slight difference in the epoxy mold compound used.
The "G4" or "E4" suffix was used to differentiate RoHS material from the non-RoHS devices at the time (2007), until the base device was converted to RoHS.

The LM2903AVQPWRQ1 was converted to RoHS in 2009. It is common for the "G4" version to eventually be obsoleted (depending on demand) once the base device is converted to RoHS.
