TLV9001: Can these opamps be operated with supply voltages V+ = 0V, V- = -3.3V, so that (V+) - (V-) = +3.3V ?

Part Number: TLV9001
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV8801, TLV8541, TLV2361

Hello,

Can TLV9001 be operated with dual supply voltages V+ = 0V,  V- = -3.3V, so that (V+) - (V-) = +3.3V ?

I have the exact same question for TLV8541 and TLV8801.  The datasheet for these opamps doesn't specifically state that they can be operated using dual supplies.

On the other hand, TLV2361 datasheet is clear in stating that it can be operated with dual supplies.

I would appreciate your clarification.

Kind regards,

  • Hi Nitish,

Yes, you can use V+=-V and V-=-3.3V for the supplies. However, you must take into consideration that the input common mode will be from -3.3V to 0V and the output swing and other specifications will be referenced to a 0V and -3.3V supply.

    Thank you,
