AMC1301: Normalized Gain understanding consult

Hi team,

I want to penetrate this device to the customer, input signal frequency is 1000kHz, but I find that Normalized Gain vs input frequency curve cut-off frequency is around 200kHz. Is there any error in this curve? How to understand this curve? Thanks.

Hi Lin,

datasheet of AMC1301 specifies an "input bandwidth" of 1000kHz and an "output bandwidth" of 210kHz. Figure 17, on the other hand, shows the overall frequency response, from the input to the output of AMC1301.

Kai is correct. Thanks! The modulator and input circuitry has a higher bandwidth than the output stage and the overall response will be limited by the output stage BW of 200kHz.
